To use it in conjunction with Pro Tools, use iZotope RX Connect in the AudioSuite menu. This will capture the audio from Pro Tools and send it directly to RX 7 as a standalone program. You can then send it back to your DAW and render the changes. Be sure to note which audio outputs are assigned from Pro Tools and RX 7, as they may not be the same. Open it in a new track. Make a new click, same tempo, click tone, everything. Render the click to an audio clip. Zoom into the waveforms and align the click in your song with the click file you've created as. When used with a time/frequency, lasso, brush, or wand selection, it can be used to remove (or attenuate) unwanted sounds from recordings, such as: squeaky chairs, coughs, wheezes, burps, whistles, dropped objects, mic stand bumps, clattering dishes, mobile phones ringing, metronomes, click tracks, door slams, sniffles, laughter, background chitchat. Hum removal is designed to remove low frequency buzz or hum from your audio file. Hum is often caused by lack of proper electrical ground. This tool includes a series of notch filters that can be set to remove both the base frequency of the hum (usually 50 or 60 Hz) as well as any harmonics that may have resulted.
